A woman was taken to hospital and two others suffered minor injuries after a caravan jack-knifed in a collision with a car.
The caravan collided with the Rover 75 estate car on the A34 northbound near the Islip junction shortly after 2.15pm on Saturday.
Her injuries were not thought to be life-threatening and two others were treated on scene.
Police and ambulance service did not have a record of what vehicle she was in.
One lane was closed between Oxford and the M40 J9 for two-and-a-half hours while the vehicles were recovered.
