UNSURPRISINGLY, Councillor Chris Robins (August 9) tells us that the last Labour Government failures were all Margaret Thatcher’s fault.

Well, what were they doing for 13 years? This was followed by Mr Dennis Brown’s complaints about the Coalition’s efforts after just three years.

After apologies from Mr Ed Miliband about Labour’s failure to control mass immigration we now have the demeaning spectacle of Chris Bryant falsely accusing large companies of abusing the employment of immigrants; Yvette Cooper’s woeful criticism during Theresa May’s successful deportation of Abu Qatada and Ed Balls criticising the Coalition’s taxation policies that are still five per cent higher than when he was in government.

They have opposed all welfare reforms but apparently will not change the maximum benefit level if they get into power. These are all glaring examples of Labour hypocrisy. Her Majesty’s opposition are supposed to provide meaningful debate on the issues that face this country. They are proving inept.
