THIS pint-size demolition expert learnt about the laws of gravity at a fun day in Abingdon’s Box Hill park, organised by North Abingdon Children’s Centre.

Alfie Busson, five, and his little Sister Lucy, three, from Radley Road, Abingdon, played with giant building blocks on Tuesday.

Alfie said: “We liked building it up.”

And Aimee Alder and school friend Ryan Squires, both five, set off some air rockets.

Aimee, who lives with her mum in Farm Road, Abingdon, said: “I had fun and I liked setting off the rocket.”

Mum Kerry, 33, said: “It was really good. The kids had a good time and there was a baby area, rocket launchers and a cricket match.

“The weather really made it.”

The free fun day took place from 10.30am to 2pm.

The next fun day is being held at Peachcroft Park on Tuesday.
