OXFORD: Thousands of people are expected to descend on central Oxford for the annual St Giles Fair on September 9 and 10.
The fair dates back to 1625 when it was a parish festival to celebrate the feast of the patron saint, St Giles.
St Giles will be closed to traffic while the fair is held.
