A MAGICAL woodland took over an Oxford booksthop for a special children’s event.
As part of the summer holiday programme at Barefoot Books in Banbury Road, Summertown, city-based puppeteer Emma Boor, of Wild Boor Ideas, brought along some of her puppets and put on a show for youngsters.
The Magic Wood puppet show, which featured giant puppet animals such as owls, was held at the bookstore on August 8.
Miss Boor said: “I did farms and pirates and the magic woods where I will have the group and led them around the room and there are little activities.
“There’s one about a tickly bear so I lead them around the woods, and they sing songs about leaves and different shapes. They were very engaged. They were lovely and it's such a nice setting.”
