A JOBS expert has opened an operation tailored to the demands of employers.
Michelle Howie has set up Career Connect Select at Bicester Innovation Centre after fellow tenants started asking her to fill vacancies. Now she is matching jobseekers with vacancies in firms at the centre, as well as recruiting apprentices herself.
Ms Howie, who also runs Meet & Mingle networking groups in Bicester, Banbury and Oxford, said: “Some of the tenants knew of [the work I do] and asked if I could recommend anyone for their vacant positions.”
Ms Howie has spent more than 20 years in commercial and professional services recruitment. Since 2011 she has expanded her offices to take on apprentices providing administrative and web support for her business activities.
