A man has been charged with possession of Class A drugs after a traffic light was knocked over by a car in Abingdon Road.
The light at the junction with Old Abingdon Road was struck shortly after midnight on July 15.
Police have now charged 48-year-old Martin James, of Barracks Lane, Oxford, with possession of Class A and Class B drugs.
He was released on bail to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on August 19.
