A 22-YEAR-OLD man arrested during extra police patrols in Blackbird Leys, Oxford, has been charged.
Byron Haines, of Blackburn Close in Headington, was charged with possession of cannabis and driving without insurance and a licence.
He was arrested on Thursday while police were stepping up patrols to reassure residents following a shooting in Blackbird Leys, a brawl in Littlemore, and a baseball bat attack in Greater Leys last month.
Haines was bailed to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on August 19.
