A 20-year-old man was knocked unconscious when he was attacked by two men while out with his girlfriend in Oxford.
The victim, who needed treatment at the John Radcliffe Hospital, was punched in the face and kicked in the head in St Aldate’s at 3.20am on Sunday.
His 19-year-old girlfriend was also struck in the face.
Police described the attackers as white and in their early 20s. They appealed for any witnesses to call 101 with information.
