LET’S thank the bus companies for helping out London-bound customers last Sunday morning when the trains weren’t running.
This caused lots more passenger traffic on the coaches but people were stranded at the Thornhill park and ride as coaches became full at the St Clement’s and Headington stops.
The Thornhill staff enabled passengers to get on the inbound buses for free so they could board the London bus from stops in Oxford. Congratulations all round on behalf of those passengers concerned.
