A driver was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital after an accident on the M40 southbound yesterday morning.
The driver crashed a silver Ford Fiesta into the central barrier at 5.17am between Junction 7 (Thame) and Junction 6 (Watlington).
The car was recovered at about 7.20am.
One lane was closed from the time of the crash until the vehicle was recovered.
