Temporary lights are in place on a road in Steventon after a water main burst on a railway bridge on Wednesday afternoon.
Engineers repaired the broken pipe overnight and on Thursday morning.
After the engineers carried out an inspection, the bridge re-opened at 2pm on Thursday. Temporary lights will remain in place until today while re-surfacing work takes place.
