EIGHT people have now been released on bail after police raided addresses linked to suspected organised crime group.

Cash, suspected cocaine and cannabis, and an imitation gun were seized after police executed warrants at five Oxfordshire addresses under the Misuse of Drugs Act at 7am on Wednesday. They made nine arrests in Kidlington and Oxford and charged a 32-year-old man from John Snow Place in Headington with possession of cannabis.

Two men, aged 26 and 46, have since been released on bail until September 27 after being arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A and class B drugs at a Cranley Road house.

A man, aged 59, and a woman, aged 60 from Waynflete Road, were released until September 30 following their arrests on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and money laundering.

Two 23-year-old men, arrested in Wentworth Road on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs, were bailed until August 23.

A 59-year-old woman arrested at the address for the same crime will answer bail today. A 32-year-old man arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs in Laburnum Crescent, Kidlington, will answer bail on September 30.
