A think tank has concluded that those children who often swap schools are less likely to excel academically.

However, this may be partly attributable to the domestic and social difficulties which such pupils are more likely to experience in the first place.

Some of the most damaged individuals I have encountered, however, have been the offspring of professional parents whose travels have resulted in frequent changes not only in their educational establishments but also their country of residence, local culture and possibly the language in which they were being instructed.

I wonder whether the experts in question are also investigating this phenomenon?
