IT took careful timing but these two pianists struck the right notes in a church concert.
Ana Luisa Monteiro and Ana Margarida played The Nutcracker Suite by Tchaikovsky on Monday at St Michael at the North Gate in Cornmarket Street.
The Very Rev Bob Wilkes, priest in charge, said: “Every Monday lunchtime from 1pm to 1.45pm there is a concert and we call it Music on Monday.
“They have grown in popularity and sometimes we get as many as 100 people coming along.”
The pianists from Portugal, known as Due Ana, were visiting Oxford.
The concerts are free and there was a collection for the Cowley charity Asylum Welcome.
