TUBNEY: A 47-year-old man remains in a stable condition with serious injuries following a two-car smash.
Police are appealing for witnesses, in particular the driver of a Mercedes, for information about the collision on Monday. At 2.22pm a black BMW coming from the Oxford direction collided with a silver Renault Trafic van as it tried to turn right towards Tubney from the Swindon direction.
The male driver of the BMW was taken to Oxford’s John Radcliffe Hospital.
The 49-year-old male driver of the van was also taken to the JR with serious injuries but was later released.
