I AM wondering if I have missed something when we are told there is a shortage of houses for people in this country.
Also the hospitals cannot cope or manage on their budgets and young teenagers cannot find jobs.
I just wonder if it might be something to do with the 4.2 million asylum seekers and immigration from commonwealth countries, etc, who have come here in the last 11 years.
Witney is a small town and I don’t believe we can cope with many more people. We now hear on the news that immigrants from Spain are coming in to our holiday resorts and taking a lot of our catering jobs in the hotels.
So, if there is a shortage of houses for English people, how come you don’t see many homeless immigrants?
