I WOULD like to thank all the good-natured and helpful staff at Drayton Recycling Centre in Steventon Road.
I am a frequent visitor with quite large amounts of garden waste and recycling items to dispose of and I always receive cheerful help with heavier bags and containers.
The staff have a good sense of humour. Recently I noticed a large model owl which presumably had been thrown out and placed on a ‘nest’ of twigs, atop a fence post.
All along the fence, opposite the car parking area, are beautiful berried and flowering shrubs and trees.
I particularly look forward to the wonderful sight of hundreds of dog roses in June and then to the rose hips.
