A ROAD in Steventon is closed after a water main burst.
Drivers are unable to use the B4017 between the A4130 and Hanney Road near to the railway bridge.
Trains are not affected, but Thames Water is waiting on Network Rail to give it the clear to fix the main.
Craig Rance, spokesman for Thames Water, said: "A water main burst on a railway bridge in Steventon this afternoon.
"Engineers are on site ready to fix the leak and this will take place when Network Rail are happy that it is safe to do so.
"The bridge is currently closed to traffic and we are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause."
