A FIRE being linked to the dry weather has swept across swathes of countryside in Oxfordshire.
The grass fire covered an area of two square kilometres near Clifton Hampden, prompting a response from eight fire engines and a police helicopter, which were called out at 1.12pm.
Rebecca Roberts took this video of the smoke:
Drivers on the nearby A415 were warned about smoke blowing across the road and affecting visibility.
Firefighters are still on the scene damping down the fields. No cause has been determined, but the weather is believed to have been a factor.
