Sir – In response to Ken Weavers’ assertion (Letters, July 11): “Ultimately, atheism too, is a belief which cannot be proved.” I assert that he his wrong.
Atheism is not a belief. One person believes, another doesn’t believe. The person who believes obviously has a belief.
The person who doesn’t believe does not have a belief. The absence of belief is not belief.
