HUNDREDS of visitors came to Stadhampton over the weekend to support an animal sanctuary.
Oxfordshire Animal Sanctuary held its annual open day and blessing service.
The sanctuary, home to 96 dogs and 130 cats, faced closure in 2009 but a campaign supported by the Oxford Mail raised more than £77,000 to keep it running.
Sanctuary manager Ron Heath said: “It has been excellent. We had between 200 and 300 people.”
