I AM writing to you in order to make you aware of the fantastic work two local, Oxford-based businesses have been doing with St Gregory the Great School, Oxford.
It was the decision of the owners of Premier Lettings and Management and Cafe Aloha to agree to sponsor the school’s year 13 prom’, which took place on Wednesday, July 3, at Hawkwell House Hotel. After approaching a few businesses in the area, these two businesses were the first to offer their help – with no hesitation.
It was great to hear that the two businesses were keen to give back to the community in which they trade by giving the organisers of the prom £100 sponsorship money simply in return for some very basic and simple advertising.
The £100 that we were given went towards the purchase of the decorations. In addition to this we were able to reduce the price of the student tickets by a considerable amount – which helped massively.
It would be appreciated if an announcement could be made on behalf of the year 13 students at St Gregory the Great to show our appreciation to businesses that have given back to their community.
