OXON: Thames Valley Police received £169,000 in sponsorship and donations in the 2012/13 financial year.
In Oxford, more than £6,000 was given by companies and organisations in donations.
This includes bicycles from Blackbird Leys Parish Council to the value of £1,170 for its neighbourhood team, a vehicle loan from BMW to the value of £4,720 and bicycles for the neighbourhood team in West Oxfordshire from Velo Cycles, worth £325.
The amount of permitted sponsorship for the force in 2012/13 was £3.99m.
