Plans to use part of the Town Hall as a flat have been approved by Oxford City Council.
The authority’s west area planning committee gave the thumbs-up to proposals for a change of use from an ancillary to an independent dwelling.
The two-bedroom flat, accessed from Blue Boar Street, is to be rented out at £14,500 a year.
It was previously used by the Town Hall caretaker, who has now retired.
