SADIQ HAMIS, 21, of Brampton Road, Barton, Oxford, admitted drink-driving in Garsington Road, Cowley, Oxford, on April 14. Had 42mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath above the legal limit of 35mcg. Given a 12-month driving ban, fined £100 and told to pay costs of £40 and a victims’ surcharge of £20.

RHYS O’NEILL, 22, of Preston Road, Abingdon, admitted possessing cannabis, a Class B drug, in Culham Road, Abingdon, on June 15. Fined £125 and told to pay costs of £85 and a victims’ surcharge of £20.

KIMBERLEY POWELL, 46, of Woodrow, Carterton, admitted failing to notify West Oxfordshire District Council of changes in circumstance that would affect entitlement to council tax benefit and housing benefit. Community order made with a three-month curfew between 9pm and 7am. Told to pay costs of £85 and a victims’ surcharge of £60.

JONATHAN WELSBY, 41, of Hazel Close, Abingdon, was convicted of driving on Besselsleigh Road, Wootton, on October 22 last year at a speed exceeding the 30mph speed limit. Given three points on his driving licence, fined £200 and told to pay costs of £85 and a victims’ surcharge of £20.

PAULINE WATT-SMITH, 64, of Woodstock Road, Yarnton, was convicted of fraudulently obtaining diazepam, a controlled class C drug, on prescription in Oxford and supplying a class C drug to another person between April 5 and April 16. Given a community order with 240 hours of unpaid work, fined £300 and told to pay costs of £85 and a victims’ surcharge of £60.

JAMES BOULTON, 31, of Wytham Street, Oxford, admitted stealing £150 worth of chilled meat from an Oxford Co-op on February 9, stealing £53 worth of meat from Sainsbury’s filling station at Heyford Hill in Littlemore, Oxford, on May 25 and stealing assorted meat items from Rose Hill Co-op on May 14. Community order made with drug rehabilitation treatment for six months and told to pay £60 victims’ surcharge.

ALEXANDER CAMERON, 67, of Church Hill, Little Milton, South Oxfordshire, admitting drink-driving in Clifton Hampden High Street, near Abingdon, on May 16. Had 115mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood, above the legal limit of 80mg. Given a 12-month driving ban, fined £400 and told to pay costs of £85 and a victims’ surcharge of £40.

THOMAS FINDLAY, 26, of Cottesmore Road, Rose Hill, Oxford, admitted possessing cannabis resin, a Class B drug, in Oxford on May 20. Fined £36 and told to pay costs of £44 and victims’ surcharge of £20.

MARTIN FLETCHER, 41, of Walton Street, Oxford, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting behaviour towards a security guard at McDonald’s in Cornmarket Street, Oxford, on February 21. Community order made requiring 12 months of mental health treatment at the Warneford Hospital in Headington as a non-resident patient.

KELLY BUNYAN, 37, of Pound Way in Cowley, Oxford, admitted stealing a £24.69 bottle of Courvoisier cognac from the Co-op at Templars Square shopping centre on May 15. Given three-month conditional discharge and told to pay £25 costs and £15 victim surcharge.

SEAN HODGKINSON, 45, of no fixed address, admitted possessing cocaine, a Class A drug, in Littlegate Street, Oxford, on June 1. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay £15 victims’ surcharge.

CHRISTOPHER HOOK, 56, of Princess Gardens, Grove, admitted drink-driving on The Green, Grove, on June 16. Had 86mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above limit of 35mcg. Given a 17-month driving ban, fined £110, told to pay £85 costs and £20 victims’ surcharge.

ZAKIR HUSSAIN, 41, of Stockmore Street, East Oxford, admitted driving without due care and attention on Banbury Road, Oxford, on March 28. Given three points on licence, fined £100 and told to pay £85 costs and £20 victims’ surcharge.

BENJAMIN LORDAN, 23, of Oxford Homeless Pathways homeless shelter in O'Hanlon House, Luther Street, Oxford, admitted causing criminal damage to a window in a property in Whitehouse Road, Oxford, on May 1. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £35 costs and victims’ surcharge of £15.

CLIVE MARKS, 72, of Leach Road, Berinsfield, admitted driving without due care and attention and failing to stop after an accident in which a cyclist was injured on Drayton Road, Abingdon, on February 16. He was given seven points on his licence, fined £200 and told to pay costs of £85 and a £20 victims’ surcharge.

JAMES NAUGHTON, 55, of Longfields, Marcham, near Abingdon, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Pets at Home in Marcham Road, Abingdon, on June 18. Fined £130 and told to pay costs of £85 and victims’ surcharge of £20.

COLIN FORBES, 50, of Lower Radley, near Abingdon, admitted driving on London Road, Chipping Norton, on February 2 at a speed exceeding the 30mph limit. Given six points on his licence, fined £200 and told to pay £65 costs and victims’ surcharge of £20.

THOMAS FOSTER-BARNES, 22, of Minchery Road, Littlemore, Oxford, admitting causing criminal damage to the windows of a car on October 25 in Oxford. Fined £100, ordered to pay £75 compensation, £85 costs and a £20 victims’ surcharge.

SIMON WILLIAMS, 45, of Lady Place, Sutton Courtenay, near Abingdon, admitted possessing four cannabis cigarettes, a Class B drug, in Sutton Courtenay on June 13. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay a victims’ surcharge of £15.

ZALAN KHAN, 20, of Leiden Road, Wood Farm, Oxford, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Glanville Road, East Oxford, on November 7. Given a two-year conditional discharge and told to pay compensation of £200 and a victims’ surcharge of £15.

HUSSAIN YOUSAF, 17, of Saunders Road, Oxford, admitted using threatening words or behaviour likely to cause alarm or distress in Glanville Road, East Oxford, on November 7. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay £50 compensation and victims’ surcharge of £10.

ADAM HOPES, 18, of Hosker Close, Headington, Oxford, admitted using threatening words or behaviour to cause harassment alarm or distress in Park End Street, Oxford, on May 11. Fined £80 and told to pay costs of £85 and victims’ surcharge of £20.

DAVID EVANS, 19, of Stonhouse Crescent, Radley, admitted stealing £60 between March 27 and April 10 in Radley and was ordered to pay it back. The compensation was considered a sentence in its own right.

ASHLEY JOHNSON, 26, from O’Hanlon House homeless shelter in Luther Street, Oxford, admitted using threatening words or behaviour to cause harassment alarm or distress at the shelter on June 16. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay victims’ surcharge of £15.

KEVIN WEBB, 35, of Divinity Road, East Oxford, was convicted of driving in Cowley Road, Oxford, without due care and attention on November 15. Fined £200, told to pay costs of £250 to the Crown Prosecution Service and a victims’ surcharge of £20.

ADAM JONES, 25, of no fixed abode, admitted dishonestly receiving stolen goods, namely a motocross bike and tools in Kidlington between January 25 and 28. Sentenced to 180 days in prison.

BANBURY

LAURA HUGHES, 24, of The Beeches mobile home park, Old London Road, near Chipping Norton, admitted driving without a licence, driving without a test certificate and talking on a mobile phone while driving in Botley Road, Oxford, on April 30. Given a 12-month driving ban, Fined £1,808 and told to pay victim surcharge of £229 and costs of £645.
