BLAZE: The scene of a fire in Bernwood Road, Barton
POLICE officers are currently investigating what caused a fire in Bernwood Road earlier today.
The blaze, which started at around 6.50am, spread from a caravan to a house but the cause is currently unknown.
Nine people, including seven children, were rescued from the property in Barton.
Three people have been taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital with injuries.
The fire service left the scene at around 9am but the police cordon remained in place.
