THE theft of Lorraine Harding’s life savings plumbs the depths once again.
Ms Harding is dying from cancer. She kept her £2,600 in savings in a whey powder container.
It stretches credibility to suspect an opportunistic thief was lucky enough to stumble across this cash without knowing where it was. That would indicate the culprit knew her and the illness she has. It’s just abhorrent.
