A 72-year-old woman has raised £2,542 for Help for Heroes in five months.
Maureen Morris, of Benmead Road, Kidlington, raised £1,091 with a “colossal” cake sale in April, and the rest at a ploughman’s supper and raffle in December.
Over the past three years Mrs Morris, Help for Heroes’ registered Kidlington fundraiser, has raised more than £6,000 for the charity.
She will present her latest cheque to Help for Heroes’ Oxfordshire co-ordinator Dave Lewis on July 27.
