THE review into how Oxford City Council dealt with the planning application for student accommodation in Roger Dudman Way will be discussed tonight.
It comes in the wake of the uproar over Oxford University’s student flats which block views from Port Meadow.
An independent review has been in the pipeline for several months and a working group to oversee it will be unveiled tonight at the west area planning committee.
The council is also set to agree to appoint an independent person to carry out the review.
The review will look at a number of factors including whether the planning considerations were adequately assessed and described to the planning committee.
