GROVE parish councillors want to see a new secondary school built in the village, with an emphasis on science and technology.
The agreement, made at a meeting on Wednesday night, comes after Oxfordshire County Council held two public consultation sessions on the future of education in Wantage and Grove.
Parish council chairman Frank Parnell said: “We would like to see a separate secondary school in Grove, with a different emphasis to King Alfred’s Academy in Wantage.”
