I MUST praise the treatment I received at our wonderful Nuffield Orthopaedic Hospital at the weekend.
Being paralysed on my left side from a stroke in 2001 I have to use my right side limbs for everything. Since February I have experienced chronic right shoulder pain.
As painkillers had little effect I was eventually referred to the NOC to have pain relief injections guided to the pain point with a US scan. While the pain from the injection was excruciating, it was soon over and on leaving the hospital my shoulder felt much better.
I must praise the staff who were dedicated to getting it right. It is great to be pain free for the first time in six months.
