PEOPLE in Witney can now pick up a programme for the town carnival taking place next month.
Copies of the programme have been printed and are being distributed to shops and firms around the town.
The carnival takes place on The Leys on Saturday, July 13, and will feature a colourful procession of floats through the town centre.
The procession will include schools, clubs, groups, pubs and firms and will start at The Leys at 11am.
The carnival will then be opened by Shaun Foggett, who runs the Crocodiles of the World reptile centre at Crawley Mill.
Rotary Club president Ron Spurs said: “All the money raised is put back into the community to support charities and individuals.
“Locally, the Rotary Club of Witney supports individuals in need and organisations such as Base 33, which provides a refuge for young people in need of support and guidance.”
