IT fills me with confidence, when I go around Headington and Oxford areas, that our planners in local authority seem to think it better to re-tarmac the Slade driftway, when there are life-threatening potholes near the Green Road roundabout and the approach to Headington.
I am being sarcastic but it frustrates me that nothing seems to get done in relation to these potholes.
I would dread to think of the cost to the NHS for caring for an individual who might come off his bike because of the numerous potholes.
Surely, it is a no-brainer not to tarmac a reasonable road surface rather than repairing potholes.
