ABOUT two years ago, I reported to the Oxford Mail about the severely dangerous state of the pavements in Witney’s High Street.
Today I walked the same stretch of pavement and found it had deteriorated even further, with some paving slabs protruding by an inch or more above their neighbouring paving slabs.
Being severely disabled I had to watch every step I took in order to avoid the numerous trip points from the many unlevel paving slabs.
It won’t be long before someone trips and falls and is badly injured.
I now propose to take WODC to task over this issue, so will readers in agreement with my campaign please call me on 07880 645283 or email tayloradrian 44@yahoo.co.uk?
If this campaign can attract enough names we can present the council with a public notice of action required.
