Southern Electric has completed repairs to an underground cable in Botley Road.
Temporary traffic lights introduced at the junction with Ferry Hinksey Road on Tuesday have been causing delays of about 30 minutes for drivers in the area.
The repairs to the 11,000 volt cable were carried out following a power cut affecting about 860 homes in the area on Sunday.
Southern Electric spokesman Hannah Gleave said: “The temporary traffic lights were removed at about 1pm.
“We can confirm that damage to the cable was caused by a third party.”
She declined to name the company responsible for the damage.
