A man accused of making bomb threats towards Home Secretary Theresa May appeared at Oxford Crown Court yesterday.
Mark Walker, 39, is charged with two counts of communicating false information to make a bomb hoax against the Cabinet Minister and councillor Jane Dowson, of Old Windsor Parish Council last October 15 and November 13.
Walker, of Straight Road, Old Windsor, Windsor, also stands accused of two counts of sending threatening or offensive messages to Crimestoppers and Mrs May, who attended what is now Wheatley Park School and St Hugh’s College as a geography undergraduate.
He was remanded in custody until a plea and case management hearing on June 25.
