A good way to sort out the enormous problems of the A34 going through Oxford would be to build a linking dual-carriageway from the A34 at Didcot to the M40 Junction 8, near Wheatley.
This would split the strategic through traffic from the local commuters, and also remove the need to further improve Junction 9 at Bicester.
