PLEASE can someone inform us why Van Coulter is pushing through the building of the swimming pool in Blackbird Leys?
He has, on several occasions, said that he will get it built, despite what the people who elected him and pay his allowances say or want.
Just reading the Oxford Mail last week, nearly all the facilities in Blackbird Leys are rife with drug dealing and use, so putting this pool there will just give the dealers and users another outlet for their dealings.
Also, there is no mention in the plans for the pool to have any diving facilities as there are now at Temple Cowley.
And is Mr Coulter going to lay on buses for people outside of Blackbird Leys to get to this white elephant?
