THREE generations of an Oxfordshire family took part in an Easter trail around the garden at Chastleton House at the weekend.

Sarah Rolls, 38, from Bloxham, her daughter Isabella, seven, and mother Gwyneth Moss, 62, visited the National Trust property near Chipping Norton on Saturday.

They took part in a search for crossword clues around the picturesque gardens at the Jacobean manor house and, after completing the Easter-themed quiz, won a chocolate egg.

Mrs Rolls said: “It was really lovely there and it was good for Isabella.

“It’s usually more somewhere people of a certain age go, so it was lovely to have an event there for the children.”

Isabella said: “It was fun, because we could run around and have a chocolate egg at the end. The gardens are really pretty.”
