STAR of the Ice Age movies, Scrat, came to Oxfordshire yesterday in his continuing hunt for acorns. Scrat, along with children’s TV stars, Mike the Knight and Little Princess, met children at Blenheim Palace.
Children’s activities on Easter Sunday and yesterday also included a bouncy castle, pottery making and traditional fairground rides.
Guy Voice, 48, of Northampton, along with his wife Tracy and children Evalina, seven, above, and Elliot, five, were among the visitors.
He said: “Blenheim Palace is always good. The children were really keen to see Sid and Scrat so we had a great time – apart from the awful cold.”
Evalina said: “I loved meeting Sid and Scrat because me and my brother like to watch Ice Age.”
