POLICE investigating the death of a man found in a stream in Didcot today have said they do not believe he was the victim of foul play.
The man's body was found in a stream off Washford Glen, in the town's Ladygrove estate, today just before 12.40pm.
Paramedics said the man was dead before they arrived at the scene.
Police spokeswoman Rebecca Webber said the man was in his 70s, although a formal identification of him was unlikely to take place until Monday.
Miss Webber said police would not speculate on his long the man's body had been the before it was discovered.
She added: "At this stage investigations are ongoing as to how the man died, however initial indications are that the death is not suspicious."
