THE King of Norway was making a special visit to Oxford today to receive an honorary degree from Oxford University.
King Harald, who like his father studied at Balliol College in Broad Street, is being honoured for his role as a statesman and his close relationship with the UK.
The King will then enjoy a lunch with Nick Bevan, a Balliol graduate who was one of his rowing companions in the early 1960s.
