Sir – I am delighted to read that the remains found in a car park in Leicester are indeed those of King Richard III. No wonder the poor chap (according to Shakespeare) was calling “a kingdom for a horse”, as if the battle of Bosworth had been in the Gloucester Green car park in Oxford, leaving a horse (or car) by now would mean a bill of £4.65m.
