TOP fashion designer Calvin Klein flew in from New York to talk at the Oxford Union yesterday.
The world-renowned figure followed in the footsteps of celebrities including Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie to talk about his life and career at the famous debating society in Frewin Court, off Cornmarket Street.
Oxford Union spokesman Robert Natzler said: “I think it went brilliantly.
“The union does not just invite political speakers. In the past we have had Katie Price and Johnny Depp.
“The union exists so that students can hear from famous figures.”
- Retired boxer Chris Eubank is due to speak at the Oxford Union on Monday. Mr Eubank, a former world middleweight and super middleweight champion, will talk to members at 5pm.
