CONGRATULATIONS to former Green Councillor, Sushila Dhall, for starting the campaign to protect Port Meadow from the overbearing development being built at Roger Dudman Way.
Where were the local councillors? Both of them were named consultees on the early planning consultations and application.
They could have easily intervened some time ago and sought changes to the design without risking the abortive costs the taxpayer is now facing.
Luckily, we still have people like Sushila (and the many others supporting her) who are willing to invest their time in protecting Oxford for future generations.
