OXFORD City Under 14s hit back from 3-0 and 4-1 down to win 6-4 at Wantage Town Youth in the Oxford Mail Boys League – and did it all with a player down.

An extraordinary B League clash was going the way of the hosts after goals from Tom Norton (2), Jack Heggie and James Webster put Wantage 3-0 ahead at half-time and then 4-1 in front early in the second period.

When a City defender was then sent off, it looked all over.

But the visitors regrouped and hit top gear to score five unanswered goals and take an unlikely victory.

Lion Kuka’s hat-trick led the way, with Tate Rogers (2) and Kareem Hassan also on target.

Abingdon Youth beat Didcot Casuals 5-2 in the B League.

Max Weller (2), Kieran Donnelly (pen), Patrick O’Malley and Jake Goddard scored for Abingdon, with the visitors replying through Ryan Fisher and Zak Corderoy.

Liam Rogan (2), Aron Cook and Aiden Sollis scored in Kidlington Youth’s 4-0 win at Hinksey Park.

Patrick Noakes hit a hat-trick as Faringdon Town beat Kidlington Colts 3-1 in the C League.

Kynan O’Brien put visiting Kidlington ahead, but Noakes won it for Faringdon.

Raphael Rice’s hat-trick, which took his goal tally to 24 for the season, helped North Leigh to a 6-2 win at Ardington in the Under 13 A League.

Lewis D’Ath (2) and Connor Allsop also scored, with Ryan Witoszynski making a notable debut with three second-half assists.

Will Newcombe and Jake Denton scored for Ardington.

Joe Lilley (2) and Caelen Issac found the net in Harwell & Hendred’s 3-1 A League win at Kidlington Youth.

Matthew Walker scored for the hosts.

Harry Cudd scored twice as Wheatley returned to the top of the Under 12 D League table after a 2-1 win at Marston Saints.

Daniel Coates had levelled for Marston.

Tom Ferris and Toby Littlewood hit four goals apiece as Crowmarsh Youth Orange beat Summertown Sharks 11-1 in the Under 11 Saturday C Spring League.

Harry Adlard (2) and Ben McDermott also netted, with Raphy King on target for Summertown.

Cumnor Minors hit back from a goal behind to defeat Hinksey Park 3-1 in their Saturday A Spring League clash.

Liam Bruce put visitors Hinksey ahead, but goals from Freddie Nunn (2) and Chris Hickman won it for Cum- nor.

Kennington Athletic Yellow and Goring Robins drew 1-1 in the Saturday B Spring League.

Daniel Rowley fired hosts Kennington ahead, but Toby Cheng’s effort ensured it ended honours even.

St Edmunds edged an enthralling Sunday B Spring League contest away at Horspath, winning 3-2.

Josh Clarke bagged a brace for St Edmunds, with Ben King also netting.

Andi Noka (pen) and Mason Wood replied for Horspath.

Callum Crook hit a hat-trick as Florence Park Blue won 7-2 at home to Kidlington Youth White in the Under 10 Blue Spring League.

Liam Cross (2), Cameron Hannon and Harry Cook also scored, with Matthew Slevin netting both Kidlington’s replies.

Ethan Anderson (2), Connor Barrett (2) and Tyler Webb scored as Oxford Blackbirds won 5-1 at Summertown Stars Blue in the Yellow Spring League. Corin Bagshaw replied for Summertown.

Kidlington Youth won the Under 9 Blue Autumn League play-off final with a 2-1 victory at Quarry.

Ebo Aneju scored both goals, with Jamie Mirnam replying for Quarry.

Bradley Ward fired Didcot Town Youth ahead in their White Spring League clash at home to Kennington Athletic.

But Nathan Botha’s second-half strike ensured a share of the spoils in a 1-1 draw.

Kian Durkin and Aaran Mudie gave Abingdon Youth Greens a 2-1 win at home to St Edmunds in the Blue Spring League.

Oscar Williams had equalised for the visitors.
