Sir – I was lucky enough to swim at the Temple Cowley pool recently at a Tuesday evening ‘women only’ session.
It was wonderful to see a pool full, buzzing with women enjoying the pool; women of different swimming abilities, ages, ethnicities, sizes and all obviously local women; it would be a real pity to close this pool, I doubt all these people would get to Blackbird Leys. Surely something could be done to refurbish this pool, as well as the planned pool at Blackbird Leys?
