YET again Cllr Rodney Rose complains the county council has no money to repair potholes.
Utter rubbish, when so much money is wasted on non-essential services or items the public have no interest in. Does Mr Rose realise he has a responsibility to make the roads safe as well as the pavements in Witney?
I have been campaigning for pavement improvements for two years and recent reports of injuries obtained by pedestrians tripping over protruding pavings prove the importance of such repairs.
As deputy leader, Mr Rose should now put his money where his mouth is and publish the council accounts in detail so the public can judge where our money goes. If you can’t do that Mr Rose, then you should return to your previous occupation of lorry driving and add further damage to our highways.
