SEVEN-year-old dancer Madison McDonagh’s wish to Santa is to win the Disco Kid title.
But the Woodstock girl has already beaten hundreds of dancers in the international freestyle dance competition in Blackpool on December 2.
The schoolgirl, pictured, came fourth after dancing in countless qualifying rounds before reaching the finals of the under-eights at the famous Blackpool Tower Ballroom.
The Woodstock Primary School pupil said: “I love it. My favourite kind of dancing is contemporary and ballet.”
Her mum, Kelly Poulter, said: “You should have seen her at the competition. If you couldn’t see her face, you would have thought she was an adult she danced so well. She practises a lot.
“I’m not sure if she wants to be a dancer when she grows up, but I’m sure she will keep dancing as long as she loves it.”
Madison dances at The Oxford Academy, Sandy Lane, about eight hours week.
